Palestinian Fatah movement official rescued from assassination attempt in Lebanon

Ali Farouk, a leader of the Palestinian Fatah movement in Lebanon, was rescued from an assassination attempt in Ein El-Helwa camp near Saida. Palestinian sources said, "The bullet missed him and hit two passing people, one of whom was badly injured."
The sources added that the targeted Palestinian official is the head of the intelligence chairmanship in the Fatah movement, which is affiliated to Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, in Ein El-Helwa.
