Two main Arab groups in the US declare merger

Two major groups for American citizens of Arab decent said they will merge and described their decision to merge as an important element on the way to revive awareness and political organization between Arab-Americans and the USA.
The American-Arab Anti Discrimination Committee and the National Association of Arab Americans, the oldest group in the US, said in a Thursday meeting that they will next Wednesday official declare the details of the merger.
Officials from the two groups underlined the importance of making collective efforts to set up an establishment representing the Americans of Arab descent and positively corresponding with their concerns. The activities of both groups were seen escalating to put an end to discrimination practiced against Americans of Arab origins.
