Moussa assures success of El-Bashir's visit to Cairo

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa stated that the discussions between Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir took place in a positive and intimate atmosphere that reflects the great Egyptian concern with Sudan and its affairs and movement toward stability in Sudan as well as ending the disputes there.

In press statements yesterday evening, Moussa said the two presidents held a closed session of discussions, then held a discussions session that was attended by members of the two countries' delegations.

He added that the discussions tackled the latest developments in Sudan, Sudanese - Egyptian relations, Sudanese relations with neighboring countries and working on moving to push the Sudanese issues forward toward understanding and discussion.
