Iranian ambassador voices backing for Syria

Iran's ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Sabahani, has asserted his country's total backing for Syria's stand and "its struggle in defense of its, Arab and Muslims' legitimate rights."
Following his meeting with the Lebanese deputy speaker of parliament, Eli Farzli, on Tuesday in Beirut, the Iranian ambassador added: "It is natural to back Syria's relentless efforts for restoring the Golan."
He added that these efforts "are viewed as part of the struggle against Israel for restoring usurped Arab and Islamic rights." The Iranian ambassador renewed Iran's support for the Lebanese resistance in their struggle to liberate south Lebanon.
