Mubarak to visit Washington soon

Israeli diplomatic sources expected the approach of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's visit to the USA to fulfill the invitation made by US President Bill Clinton.
The Israeli paper Maariv referred to Egyptian officials' feelings of frustration for not choosing Cairo to host the Syrian - Israeli talks in the coming stage.
The newspaper also referred to the US State Department as searching for an adequate place for the anticipated Syrian - Israeli summit.
Maariv said Syria objects to convening the negotiations at Camp David, which witnessed the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel.
