Muabarak meets with Jospin

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak met with French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin, who arrived in Cairo last night on a two-day official visit, during which he discussed the current developments in the peace process in light of the resumption of Syrian - Israeli peace negotiations. The discussions also tackled means of boosting cooperation between the two countries, increasing commercial exchange and investments as well as the French - African summit that will be held in Paris at the beginning of the coming year.
