King Abdullah assures Jordan's support for the Palestinian people

King Abdullah II of Jordan newly expressed the Jordanian government's backing of the Palestinians' efforts to reclaim their rights and establish their independent country.
After his meeting with Palestinian President Yasser Arafat in Amman yesterday King Abdullah asserted the impossibility of reaching peace without finding a fair solution for the Palestinian cause.
King Abdullah called for intensifying efforts to remove the obstacles obstructing the peace process, referring to the Israeli settlement policy, which threatens the peace processes.
