Sources: El-Bashir to visit Cairo tomorrow; Sudan People's Liberation Front welcomes his procedures
Sudan, Politics, 12/21/1999
The opposition Sudan People's Liberation Front expressed its welcome for the procedures taken by Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir recently.
A statement by the movement said yesterday that El-Bashir's procedures brought the crisis inside the Sudanese government to a deadlock, saying that the crisis is in the conflict between Hasan Turabi, chairman of the dissolved parliament, and Othman Ali Taha, the first vice president.
Meanwhile, Sudanese diplomatic sources expected Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir to reach Cairo tomorrow to hold talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
