No retreat, Toshka Project considered thoroughly, hi-tech implementation.

Mahmoud Abou Zeid, Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources affirmed that Sheikh Zayed Canal Project in Toshka has been the outcome of several serious feasibility studies made by all concerned bodies namely the universities and ministries and what is going on there is the true reality, Abou Zeid pointed out.

The Minister ruled out any attempt to reconsider this project, since the government providing all possibilities and capabilities for implementing it especially the financial funds estimated by LE540 million.

The Ministry is going to issue an encyclopedia comprising all the studies related to the Project of the development of the South Valley, particularly the main Canal and its four branches and the several phases of work including the giant pumping station which transfers water from Nasser lake to 540 thousand feddans of 72 Km, pointing out that this encyclopedia will be attached to the components of the museum to be established on the location of the project, Abou Zeid added.
