Retreat in international aid to the Palestinian government

A report made by an international organization that works in the occupied Palestinian lands said that aids from the donor states to the Palestinian government witnessed a decline of nearly 20% during the first half of the current year in comparison to the first half of last year.

UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), which recently issued a report concerning the economics of the Palestinian lands, stated that the value of the international aid reached till end of last June $174 million, while it reached $216.4 million till the end of last June.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Finance stated that, "The total national income of the Palestinian lands, including occupied Jerusalem, reached nearly $5.545 billion during the current year."
