Egypt: get a contract if you are going to Qatar for work

The Egyptian ministry of labor and immigration asked Egyptian workers seeking employment in Qatar to obtain ratified work contract guaranteeing a job. This, in order to provide legal protection for Egyptian workers and not depending on entering Qatar with a normal visit Visa then looking for a work opportunity.

The issued statement by the Egyptian ministry said that "this matter may exposes the individual to the legal responsibility especially that some laborers companies resort to this method to exploit Egyptians to bring them to Qatar without work contract for it is difficult to get work visas in Qatar for the not required regular laborers there."
