El-Bashir removes ban on newspaper

The Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir issued a decision of re-issuing independent newspaper El-Rai El-Akhar (the other opinion) concerning which he ordered stopping it two months ago. The advisor to the president for press affairs El-Sadek Bekhit said that "new newspapers will be issued during the coming period which are El-Ayam and El-Akhbar - adding that the press liberties will not be harmed in the coming period and that the obstacles and characters there were affecting us in this - had finished."
