Moroccan child rights body, Peace Child International conclude accord

The Moroccan National Child's Rights Observatory and the British Peace Child International Association agreed to promote human rights culture in Moroccan schools.
Under an accord, concluded in Rabat on Friday, the two sides agreed to consolidate the role of schools in consolidating human rights culture.
The accord is meant to pave the way for future cooperation projects aimed at guaranteeing and promoting child rights.
The convention was initialled by Wool Combe, Chairman of the Peace Child International, and Mustapha Daniel, executive director of the Moroccan Observatory.
Combe said Morocco is the first African nation to embark on such a project for the promotion of children's rights and voiced hope to see other countries follow suit.
