Hamas vows to continue struggle against israel
Palestine, Politics, 12/18/1999

The Hamas resistance movement said it will continue resisting Israel until the occupied lands are liberated and the Palestinian refugees return.

In a statement issued in Gaza on Friday to mark Hamas' 12th foundation anniversary, Hamas said it refuses to negotiate with Israel and to normalize ties with it. It said that it opted for resistance with a view to confronting Israel's expansionist ambitions and to freeing the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli jails.

The statements released by Hamas also called on the Palestinian government to free political prisoners, especially some Hamas leaders, to honor human rights and political pluralism to combat corruption and to eliminate exploitation.
