Mauritania's ambassador in Israel

An official source at the Mauritanian Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that Nouakchott has decided to appoint Ahmad Ould Takadi as its ambassador in Israel.
The same source said the Mauritanian diplomat will leave within the next few days for Tel Aviv in order to submit his credentials to Israeli President Ezer Weizman. The source did not disclose more information about this matter.
Ould Takadi occupied the post of the chairman of the department supervising Mauritanian interests in Israel for three years.
