European commissioner in Morocco next week

The European commissioner in charge of agriculture, rural development and fisheries, Franz Fischler, is expected in Rabat next Monday on a two-day visit to Morocco.
Fischler is slated to meet with Premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi, Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Minister Mohamed Benaissa, Minister of Agriculture, rural Development and Fisheries Habib El Malki, and Fishery Delegate Minister Thami Khyari.
While the European side says it is eager to start talks on fisheries, Morocco is adamant on not passing a new agreement, saying cooperation was possible in every inland activity and that fishing per se was not in the agenda.
