US, Turkey, Israel carry out joint naval exercises

Israeli, Turkish and US joint naval exercises started on Wednesday in the Mediterranean waters off the Turkish coasts.
Israeli Radio said that these maneuvers will last for two days and that warships and helicopters will take part.
A military official said the Jordanian naval forces' commander will attend these maneuvers as an observer.
Last year naval exercises were held off the coast of Haifa. They were also attended by Turkish, US and Israeli warships.
