Israeli official meets with Lahd

Israel's Coordinator of Government Operations in Lebanon, Uri Lubrani, met on Monday evening with the commander of the Israeli-allied militias in South Lebanon, Antoine Lahd, in the presence of the commander of the northern area in the Israeli Army, Major General Gabi Ashkenazi.
Israeli Radio said that Lubrani stressed during the meeting the persistence of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak to maintain what he has called the security and safety of the South Lebanon Army militia in the framework of a peace agreement that might be reached.
