Holy See Sends Delegation to Amman to Prepare for Pope's Visit
Regional-Vatican, Religion, 12/14/1999
A holy see delegation started on Monday a visit to Amman to prepare with Jordanian authorities the pope's visit to Jordan next March, reports Italian news agency ANSA. Pope Jean Paul II will start his trip to the holy sites in Palestine, Jordan and Israel by Amman before heading to the "Nebo" height, 35 km from Amman.
Two holy see's officials in charge of the pope's trips will examine "technical details" of the pope's visit slated, in principle, for next March 20.
