Festival for Arab song in Doha
Qatar-Regional, Culture, 12/14/1999

The Qatari capital, Doha, will host between January 8 and 11 the festival of the Arab song, which is organized by the Orbit Satellite Television and Radio Network with the participation of Qatari television.

This festival comes as an extension to the four held by Orbit in the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Jordan and Bahrain.

Singers from Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Syria, Kuwait and Palestine are participating in the festival, among whom are Ahlam, Diana Haddad, Samira Saiid, Asala Nasri, Pascal Meshalani, Ihab Tawfik, Asi Halani, Ali Bin Mohammed, Kazem El-Saher, Rabeh Saker, Nabeel Shoail, Rashid El-Magid, Ali Abd El-Sattar and Mohammed Abdo.
