Trade exchange between Arab Gulf states and Iraq
Gulf-Iraq, Economics, 12/14/1999
Arab Gulf sources have said that several Arab Gulf states are developing their economic relations with Iraq.
The sources said that officials from these Gulf states asserted that the exchanged visits with Iraq came under the persistence of feelings that there are opportunities to promote production and exchange expertise as well as to benefit from trade agreements signed between the two sides through encouraging both the private and public sectors and especially in taking part in Baghdad's international exposition.
The sources asserted that the volume of trade exchange between Iraq and these Arab Gulf states exceeds US $70 million annually.
