Syrian citizens in the Golan eager to return home

The Syrian people in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights have expressed their great hope to return very soon to the homeland, Syria, and for the elimination of the Israeli occupation.
Syrian citizen Muti'ee Abu Saleh from Majdal Shams town in the occupied Golan Heights said on Sunday in an interview with the BBC that the Syrians in the occupied Golan are an integrated part of the Syrian society. He stressed commitment of the people of the Golan to their Syrian nationality, stating, "We assert the return of the Golan to Syria so as to live in dignity and freedom."
Citizen Qasem Abu Shahin said the citizens in the Golan are in favor of a just and comprehensive peace and the return of the Golan to Syria. Radia Abdullah Safra, a mother of several children from Majdal Shams, expressed hope for the return of the Golan so as to be free and dignified.
Meanwhile, President al-Assad's pictures and Syrian flags were raised over houses of the towns and villages of the occupied Golan in an assertion of the Syrian identity of the Golan.
