King Mohammed renews solidarity with Iraqi people

King Mohammed VI renewed solidarity with the Iraqi people and prayed the almighty to help them overcome the hardships and sufferings they are enduring.

This came in a message of congratulations that the king sent to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The king voiced solidarity with the Iraqi people in their ordeal and wished them progress and prosperity.

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, King Mohammed VI exchanged messages of congratulations and best wishes with several kings and heads of states of Islamic countries worldwide.

Messages conveyed wishes of stability, development and growth and further unity and solidarity of the moslem nation.

The king underscored challenges thrown at the Islamic "Umma" and prayed God Almighty to unite and strengthen Muslim ranks, saying cementing ranks would help defeat fanaticism and dispersion and win the battle of development.
