Jordanian airplanes will not work on New Years

The Jordanian Royal Airlines said it is stopping its trips on the New Year to avoid any problems that might occur in the computers due to theY2K problem.
The press statement issued by the company said guarantees were taken so no Jordanian airplane would be in the air during that time span, adding that the computer devices affiliated to the company were developed to avoid the Y2K, problem in addition to making emergency plans ready to deal with this problem if it appeared.
