Organization of African Unity resumes efforts to solve Somali crisis

The spokesman of the Organization of African Unity, Ibrahim Dagh, emphasized the strong and effective role of the organization to reach a solution to the Somali problem.
He said in statements concerning the organization's role in the coming talks that will held in Djibouti among the Somali factions that the area will resume its work effectively because it sees that the Somali problem has lasted too long, that the Somali people suffer and that it is time that the Somalis themselves reach a solution.
He added that the organization facilitated convening a reconciliation conference in coordination with UN.
