US Congress delegation: US -Egyptian relations important

Representative Joseph Pitts, head of a US Congressional delegation currently visiting Cairo, said that the delegation discussed with Egyptian officials means of supporting cooperation between the two countries, means of encouraging investment opportunities and opening new horizons for industrial and commercial cooperation through businessmen in the two countries.
Pitts told ArabicNews.com that the Egyptian government plays a role in enhancing bilateral cooperation and partnership between the two countries in different fields like military cooperation that he depicted as very important to the USA.
He said there is fruitful cooperation between Egypt and the USA in combating terrorism and other important fields.
