Some eight Israeli raids against south Lebanon
Lebanon-Israel, Military, 12/10/1999

The Israeli occupation forces on Thursday escalated their attacks against south Lebanon and carried out eight raids against the villages of south Lebanon and the western Bekaa.

Meanwhile, the Israeli artillery bombarded several villages adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon.

In retaliation, the Lebanese resistance attacked the occupation positions, and fierce clashes took between the two sides, resulting in direct hits.

AFP quoted a source at the SLA (South Lebanon Army) militia as saying that three Lebanese resistance fighters were killed during confrontations with the Israelis upon attacking Rab al-Thalathin position. Lebanese security sources said that four Israeli soldiers were wounded.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out three raids against al-Qeseyeh valley and Qibreiha's surroundings in the western sector with six missiles.
