Syrians of the Golan stress adherence to the homeland

The Syrian people in the occupied Golan Heights reiterated their adherence to their homeland, Syria, and confidence in the "wise leadership" of President Hafez al-Assad.
One Syrian citizen from Majdal Shams village in the occupied Golan, Hassan Noureddin, said in a radio statement on Thursday that the people of the Golan are confident in the leadership of President Hafez al-Assad in his effort to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on restoring rights.
He hoped that the resumption of negotiations will result in establishing a just peace providing for restoring the Golan to Syria, adding that the same optimistic feelings are prevailing among the people of the Golan, SANA reported.
