Discussions between the US and Saudi energy ministers

Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Ibrahim Naimi is convening today with his US counterpart, Bill Richardson, in Washington to discuss the status of petroleum prices in the international markets on the margins of a energy conference being held in the US capital.
Saudi sources in the Petroleum Ministry said the Saudi minister will discuss with his US counterpart what was said about Washington's intention to participate in attempts to affect the prices of the petroleum markets through plans to selling quantities from the US strategic petroleum reserves to decrease the prices.
