New UK ambassador arrives in Libya

The UK ambassador in Libya, Richard Dalton, arrived today at Libya after the diplomatic relations boycott between the two countries for 15 years. The new UK ambassador said that he intends to bring Libya into the heart of the international community.
The diplomatic relations between the two countries were resumed in August after being completely severed in 1984 when a UK policewoman was shot before the Libyan embassy in London.
