Jordanian king starts visit to China

Jordan's King Abdullah II arrived in Beijing on Monday for a three-day visit to China aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries.
The new "China" news agency said that King Abdullah was due to meet later in the day with Chinese President Jiang Zemin and that talks will deal with bilateral relations, the Middle East peace process and international issues.
The Jordanian king will also meet today with the Chinese prime minister as well as the speaker of the parliament. The Jordanian king will also visit the premises of the Chinese emperors and the great wall of China and will conclude his visit to Beijing on Wednesday.
