Arab ministers approve electronic visas in the Arab states

Arab ministers of tourism have called on the Arab states interested in celebrating the third millennium to inform the Arab League about the tourism facilities they will offer during the year 2000 with the objective of making necessary tourism attraction campaigns.

The Arab ministers, at the conclusion of their fourth session on Sunday in Cairo, approved the application of the electronic entry visas to Arab states in coordination with parties concerned.

The ministers also decided to set up a joint Arab tourism market and fair, to organize a tourism festival and to unify tourism terminology and classifications of hotels and restaurants.

The Arab ministers also decided to establish joint tourism projects and to make use of international expertise in this area.
