Syrian information talks continues visit to Iran

Former Iranian President Muhammad Khatami Rafsanjani, who is also the chairman of the expediency council, met on Sunday in Tehran with Syrian Minister of Information Muhammad Salman.

Talks dealt with relations between Syria and Iran and ways and means of consolidating them in various fields, as well as Middle East peace process developments and other matters of mutual concern.

The Syrian minister also held a round of talks with Iranian Minister of Culture and Guidance Abdullah al-Muhajirani. The meeting was attended by the Syrian ambassador in Tehran and the Syrian delegation accompanying the minister. The two sides completed discussions on topics related to media cooperation between the two countries and means of consolidating them.

In another meeting, the Syrian minister discussed with the director of the Iranian television and radio, Ali Fariyani, prospects for cooperation between Syria and Iran in the areas of television and radio
