EgyptAir prepares timetable of four trips at the beginning of the millennium

An official in the EgyptAir Company said the dates of four coming trips from Europe will be amended on December 31 to guarantee that the airplanes will not be in the air at midnight.
The company's general manger said the trips' dates were changed to avoid any problems in the radar devices from the Y2K computer problem in the countries through which the company's flights pass.
The company, which says that all the computer devices in it are adjusted to to deal with the change in date at the beginning of coming year, said that it will form an emergency team from heads of the departments to work on New Year's Day to monitor any disorders outside Egypt.
