Lebanese banker killed in Monaco

Lebanese banker Edmond Safra and another man were killed on Friday in a fire set deliberately in the bottom floor of a building complex in Monaco. AFP quoted the press center of Monaco, which announced the news, as saying that Edmond Safra, the director of the Republic National Bank of New York, and another man who is thought to be one of Safra's guards died of smoke inhalation in Safra's residence and that Monaco's police are searching for two veiled and armed men who tried to get into the flat.
