EgyptAir Special Grade among insurance companies

In the field of aviation safety procedures, EgyptAir is one of the most creditable international airlines among the global insurance and aircraft industry companies, an official statement said.

Also, EgyptAir has a very honorable record among other international airlines as its records show the minimum level of accidents, which led to the decreasing of its amount of insurance payment on renewing its insurance contracts.

There were many aviation accidents deserved merit, which were paid such as:

* Swissair accident in 5th September 99
* Thai Airways International accidents 11th Dec 98
* Air France accident 5th March 99
* Turkish Airlines accident 7th April 99
* Korean Airlines accident 15th April 99
* Air China accident 22nd and August 99

On the other hand, EgyptAir offers all the possible facilities to the victims' families of the tragic crash flight 990 in order to ensure their insurance payment.

EgyptAir formed a control room of EgyptAir staff and insurance companies representatives to respond to the victims' families inquires Phone no: 2674732 - 2674733.

Meanwhile, The US Federal Civil Aviation Agency(FAA) was to start on Thursday a thorough scrutiny all production lines in Boeing company to ensure its efficiency after a series of incidents and flaws that have happened to Boeing planes.

The Agency announced that investigations with regard to production lines will start as of tomorrow and run until February next.

The latest examination conducted by FAA was in February 1998 after slight flaws in the tail's components were discovered.

Meanwhile, Chairman of EgyptAir Fahim Rayan will be flying to the US in a three-day visit, where he will review with the Americans the latest reports on the ill-fated plane and meet the Egyptian investigation committee there.
