Egyptian-Iraqi agricultural cooperation

Cairo has expressed its readiness to develop agricultural cooperation with Iraq in all fields and promote the trade of agricultural commodities between the two countries.
On Wednesday night, Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Yousef Wali met in Cairo with Iraqi Minister of Trade Muhammad Mahdi Saleh, currently visiting Cairo, and discussed with him the possibility of the participation of Egyptian land reclamation companies in the areas of developing agricultural production in Iraq.
During the meeting, Mahdi stressed Egypt's readiness to cooperate with Iraq in the area of land reclamation and promotion of agricultural commodities. Saleh stressed that his country gives priority to developing the volume of trade with Egypt.
