Erekat: Israeli settlements are against peace

Palestinian Minister of Local Government Saeb Erekat stated that the continuation of the Israel settlement and confiscation of lands causes major damage to the peace process and makes it lose its credibility.
He said that a round of negotiations on the transitional stage with the Israelis yesterday tackled the issue of maps for redeployment, the secure passage, the third stage of redeployment and the issue of releasing the Palestinian captives and detainees, as well as some other causes.
Erekat added, "There are still disputes, and Israel follows the dictation style in negotiations."
