King Abdullah repeats his proposal to have Jerusalem a capital for two states

Jordan's King Abdullah II, who started on Tuesday a five-day visit to Japan, reiterated his proposal of having Jerusalem as two capitals, one for the Palestinians and the other for the Israelis.
In a statement to the Japanese daily Yomiuri Shimbun issued on Wednesday, the Jordanian king said, "The Jordanians consider that Jerusalem can be two capitals." He added, "We have to be realistic when we talk about the future."
He described Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak as "brave and a man who is determined to achieve peace with the Arab states."
