Egypt, Jordan will not take part in joint US - Turkish - Israeli maneuvers

The Turkish Daily News on Tuesday quoted diplomatic sources in Ankara as saying that Egypt and Jordan will not participate in the forthcoming joint American, Turkish, and Israeli maneuvers, due to be carried out in the Eastern part of the Mediterranean in December.
The Turkish daily quoted Turkish government sources as saying that these maneuvers, named "Reliant Mermaid," aim at carrying out training in the area of rescue and inspection.
