Syrian information minister meets with Iranian vice president in Tehran

Iranian Vice President Hasan Habibi on Tuesday in Tehran received Syrian Information Minister Muhammad Salman, during which talks dealt with bilateral relations, issues in the region and matters of mutual concern. A work session held later in the day attended by Salman and Iranian Minister of Islamic Culture and Guidance Ataollah Mohajerani. The two sides discussed means of developing information relations between Syria and Iran and topics relating to the conference of the Islamic countries' information ministers, due to open today.
The Syrian minister highlighted the importance of information cooperation between the two countries in withstanding challenges facing the region.
