Some 20,000 Turkish soldiers incurred into northern Iraq

Turkish troops continued their incursion in northern Iraq, where they have been launching attacks against positions of the Kurdistani Workers Party (PKK), which the Turkish media said lost 70 of its fighters.
Meanwhile, the Turkish daily Jumhuriyat said that the Turkish army killed 70 armed Kurds in northern Iraq in the past five days. The PKK in Europe stressed the occurrence of a Turkish incursion into northern Iraq and stated that the Turkish forces are carrying out attacks in 15 different directions.
