Al-Qaddoumi to visit Beirut on December 9

The Lebanese daily al-Nahar said on Monday that the chairman of the PLO political department, Farouk al-Qaddoumi, will visit Beirut on December 9 and will meet with Lebanese Premier and Foreign Minister Salim al-Hoss to discuss the latest developments concerning the Middle East peace process and the tense Lebanese - Palestinian relations following the in-absentia death sentence against the secretary of the Fatah movement in Lebanon, Maj. Gen. Sultan Abu al-Einin, and the Lebanese authorities' suspension of the Fatah movement's two officials in Sidon and the Bekaa last week.
