Egypt-Palestine, Education, 11/29/1999

Egyptian Minister of Higher Education Mufid Shehab welcomed Palestinian students who want to study in Egyptian universities, whether for bachelor's degrees or in the higher studies, emphasizing the depth of relations that link the Palestinian and Egyptian people in all political, cultural and educational fields.

After his meeting with Palestinian Minister of Higher Education Monzer Salah, who is currently visiting Cairo, Shehab said that Egypt encourages the fraternal agreements between Egyptian and Palestinian universities, supporting the research and educational relations between the two sides through exchanging members of teaching organizations and visits among students, as well as research.

He said Egypt is ready to present its experience in field of education and scientific research before the Palestinians.
