Bank note counterfeiter sentenced to 10 years in prison

The Casablanca court of appeal on Friday sentenced a bank note counterfeiter to 10 years in prison. Pascal Max, 46, a French national, stood trial under the charge of circulating counterfeited bank notes in Morocco. The court also sentenced an Algerian-born French woman, Khedra Benaich, 27, to 8 months in jail and a $50 fine for non-denunciation.
