Egypt's ambassador in Washington says investigations continuing into plane crash
Egypt-USA, Politics, 11/27/1999

The Egyptian ambassador in Washington said his country is participating seriously in the US investigations concerning the crash of an EgyptAir jet off the US coast, adding that the investigations are fully exposed to the Egyptian side.

Ambassador Nabeel Fahmi said in an interview with the Egyptian radio Sawt al-Arab that the Egyptian participation in the investigation is required, just like the U.S investigations.

He also refused to jump to accusing the Israeli Mossad of exploding the airplane, saying that it is early to accuse a concerned front of exploding the airplane and that the investigations have not yet finished. He said that as soon as they are finished the results will be made public.
