ISESCO to Open Regional Office in Sharjah

The Executive Council of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) approved, at its 20th session held in Rabat, the opening of a regional office of the organization in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates.
The Council also approved, in principle, the opening of a regional office in Tehran and recommended that a feasibility study for the opening of ISESCO's regional offices in other regions be conducted.
Sultan Ibn Muhammad Al-Qassimi, member of the supreme council and governor of the Emirate of Sharjah had previously announced plans to provide material support and all the necessary facilities, for ISESCO's regional office in Sharjah emirate.
