Iraq, Egypt to resume diplomatic relations

The Egyptian daily al-Joumhureyah on Wednesday quoted the chairman of supervising the interests of Egypt in baghdad Mahmoud Sharif as saying that diplomatic relations between Iraq and Egypt will be resumed shortly on the level of the embassy. He asserted the development of relations between the two states saying it is natural that relations between the two states have been strengthened, adding under the oil for food program it reached US $ 800 million.
