Ruler of Bahrain pardons two British prisoners

A spokesman for the British embassy in al-Manama said on Tuesday that the ruler of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa, has enacted a pardon for two British citizens arrested in Bahrain before he headed for Britain on Monday.
The spokesman added that, "The two Britons were released, and they will be able to leave Bahrain after ending their travel procedures."
Richard Cunningham, (35) and Koren Delon White (25) were sentenced to a three-year imprisonment on July 14 after they were convicted of "falsifying travelers checks."
