King Mohammed chairs meeting on Maroc-Telecom

King Mohammed VI chaired on Monday in the Middle Atlas mountainous resort of Ifrane a working session on the Moroccan telecommunications company "Ittissalat Al-Maghrib" or "Maroc-Telecom."
The king gave participants in the meeting guidelines regarding the company.
The working session was attended by advisor to the king Andre Azoulay, Minister of Economy and Finance Fathallah Oualalou, secretary general of the government, Abdessadeq Rabiaa, Minister of the Public Sector and Privatization Rachid Filali, Secretary of State for the Interior Fouad Ali Al-Himma, and director general of Maroc-Telecom, Abdeslam Ahizoune.
Maroc-Telecom posted in 1998 sales of $742.6 million, recording an increase of 14% compared to the previous year.
